Rep. Jim McGovern represents the 2nd Congressional District of Massachusetts, which spans from Worcester to Pioneer Valley. Although Rep. McGovern is deeply passionate regarding local issues - such as nutrition and farming - he also shows great interest in foreign affairs.

The Congressman describes himself as a human rights advocate, which he fully realized in 1989 while
investigating the murders of Jesuit priests in El Salvador. Since then, Rep. McGovern has been outspoken regarding his passion for human rights.
