Get to know Jen Daulby from Congressional Management Foundation in a new episode of Capitol Spotlight, a video and audio podcast from CNCT.
If you're looking for tips and tricks to help your Congressional office run more smoothly, you should talk to Jen. As Chief Executive Officer of the Congressional Management Foundation (CMF), Jen leads a team dedicated to serving Capitol Hill. CMF specializes in building leadership, management, education, and community on the Hill β all in a bipartisan way.
To serve the Hill effectively, you have to understand it β and Jen does. Before becoming CMFβs CEO, Jen started on the policy side in the House. She then gained valuable experience in the private sector before returning to the Hill, where she opened a Congressional office as Chief of Staff. Later, she served as Staff Director for the Committee on House Administration for two years.

More about CMF
The Congressional Management Foundation is a bipartisan foundation that serves the Capitol Hill community through resources, programming, and collaboration. For nearly 50 years, CMF has strengthened the Hill through leadership, management, education, and community initiatives.
"We are in service to Capitol Hill. That's the first thing I want staff to know. We are in service to you ... And we show up in a bipartisan way." says Jen.
π£ Having worked in all levels of Capitol Hill, Jen and her colleagues recognize that staffers need resources and community. CMF hopes to create bipartisan spaces where staffers from across the aisle can build common experiences and, eventually, learn how to work together.
When it comes to resources, CMF provides freshman offices or new chiefs with Setting Course β a book detailing how to open a Congressional office. CMF is also able to assist if you need a staff retreat or coaching.
From organizing your email inbox to hosting bipartisan events, CMF can be your next tool for success on the Hill.
π Also, tune in to the episode to hear more about the Democracy Awards, which recognizes the good work of Congressional offices.
